Cameron joined MyWorkSpot this week (21 June) as part of the Kickstart Scheme. Here’s a quick fire Q&A to help him introduce himself!
Whats your name, how old are you and where are you from?
My name is Cameron white, I’m 19 years and I come from Surrey.
What are you interested in learning about here at MyWorkspot?
I’m interested in learning all about the different businesses and companies which reside here in The MyWorkspot community. And more about the people who visit as well.
What attracted you to the role here at MWS?
I was attracted to MWS after having an interview with Mike Miller from the chamber of commerce, who told me all about the company and that it was run by close team, I liked the idea of working with a close group of people so I applied for the position which I’m happy that I did.
What made you chose to study Performing Arts?
I decided to enrol and study performing arts at the Bca college because I love working in an ensemble and performing also I hope to venture into the Acting industry and work in film and theatre.
Favourite food?
My favourite food is saveloy and chips, yummy!
How has covid affected your last year?
Covid had a strong impact on me being in lockdown was very stressful as I wanted to get out and enjoy the summer although it allowed me to have my spinal surgery which I’m fully recovered from so I’m very grateful for that.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In ten years I hope to be working in the acting industry in theatre and film, you never know you may see me on TV!! I’d also like to help direct and produce film and television so I can see it from both creative avenues.
What do you hope to learn here?
I hope to learn more about Myself at MyWorkspot and see what I’m really capable of doing, and with the role I have here at MWS I’m sure I will.
Had you heard of coworking before MyWorkspot?
I had not heard of coworking before MWS however I did do some research and learnt that it had a good amount of benefits and a real sense of community which I think is great.
Do you like Cream Soda?
I have never tried cream soda so I’m not sure if I’d like it or not, I’ll have to try it and see. [Editor correction – see photo!]
What’s your favourite Tuck Shop item?
My favourite tuck shop item is probably the walkers ready salted crisps, simple but tasty!
Tell us something about you that is interesting?
An interesting fact about me is that I used to play the Drums I am a fond fan of Ringo Starr from the Beatles, he’s a fantastic drummer.
Where is the best place you have been on holiday?
My favourite place I’ve been on holiday is down in Cornwall in the seaside town of Bude the beaches are fantastic.
