At MyWorkspot, we understand the importance of creating a comfortable and inclusive environment for all our members, including those who are dog owners. Our pet policy has been developed to ensure that both pet owners and non-pet owners can enjoy our flexible office space in Maidenhead harmoniously.
Please read and adhere to the following guidelines. Please note that these guidelines are for York House only. There are no dogs allowed at Proxima.
1. Pet Types
We welcome well-behaved domesticated dogs to our premises but only for members who rent a private office with us.
2. Pet Behavior and Etiquette:
- All dogs must be well-behaved, non-aggressive, and properly socialised.
- Dogs must be under the control of their owners at all times and must be on a leash or in a carrier when moving through common areas.
- Excessive barking or disruptive behavior that disturbs other members is not permitted.
3. Cleanliness and Hygiene:
- Owners are responsible for ensuring their dogs are clean and well-groomed before entering the premises.
- Accidents or waste must be cleaned up immediately by the owner, and disposed of outside of the building (not in bins in the common areas or offices)
- Owners are responsible for providing their own cleaning supplies to clean up incidents
4. Health and Vaccinations:
- All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention.
- Owners should not bring pets to the premises if they are sick, have a contagious condition, or are in heat.
5. Common Areas:
- Pets are not allowed in the kitchen or dining areas but are allowed in the downstairs cafe area during lunchtime as long as noise is kept to a minimum and dogs are kept on leads.
- Dogs are not allowed in meeting rooms
6. Liability and Insurance:
- Owners are solely responsible for any damage or injury caused by their pets. MyWorkspot assumes no liability for any pet-related incidents.
- Pet owners are encouraged to have appropriate liability insurance coverage.
7. Notifying MyWorkspot:
- All members intending to bring pets into the premises must notify MyWorkspot management in advance.
- Proof of up-to-date vaccinations and a recent photo of the pet may be requested.
8. Non-Pet Owners:
- We respect the preferences of non-pet owning members. If a non-pet owner is uncomfortable with pets nearby, they can request a workspace away from designated pet-friendly areas (subject to availability).
9. Violations:
- Failure to comply with this pet policy may result in the pet owner being asked to remove their pet from the premises.
- Repeated violations may result in the suspension of pet privileges.
